Standardizing a database
Christophe Gaudet-Blavignac
When it comes to using collected data for analysis, it can be complicated to correctly represent information that is sometimes highly complex. The use of compositional representation systems such as SNOMED CT could provide a solution to this semantic interoperability challenge, particularly in the medical field, where data is a major issue for the operation of care structures, and where its reuse for research, quality or monitoring purposes has become indispensable.
