In this capsule, we will explore change detection using extensive time series of satellite data. This analysis allows for a detailed characterization of changes such as deforestation, variations in ice, coastal transformations, etc. We will also discuss the types of changes, detection methods, and emphasize the importance of clearly defining objectives for meaningful results.
