Biographie

Guido Bologna received a Ph.D.  for the development of a neural network model that can be interpreted by means of symbolic rules in 1998 at the University of Geneva. Subsequently, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia; at the National University of Singapore and at the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics. Between 2004 and 2009 he joined the University of Applied Science in Geneva where he occupied a senior researcher position and since 2006 he had been also part of the Computer Vision and Multimedia Laboratory at the University of Geneva. Since 2020 he is Assistant Professor at the University of Applied Science, Geneva and in 2014 he is also Senior Lecturer at the University of Geneva. He has authored or co-authored 100 papers in refereed journals, books and conferences. He contributes as regular reviewer for several international journals. His current research interests concern, machine learning.
